Rivers APC Lauds Developmental Stride of Gov Fubara

The State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Rivers State led by Emeka Beke has lauded the developmental strides of Governor Siminialayi Fubara.

The Chairman of APC in Rivers State Emeka Beke made this declaration during a press briefing on Saturday, September 21, 2024, while reacting to a social media post by the Tony Okocha-led APC faction in the state titled “GOV SIM AND JUDICIAL PRONOUNCEMENTS. MAKE HAY WHILE THE SUN SHINES"

Beke said that the infrastructural development of the Governor in Rivers State is open for all to see.

The APC Chairman noted that those living outside Rivers State can come to the state and see things for themselves.

“On whether Governor Siminialayi Fubara is working in Rivers State. We make bold to say YES. Since we cannot count the numerous developmental projects that are both completed and ongoing, including empowerment and the security of lives and properties, we hereby invite those living outside Rivers State to come and see things for themselves and thereafter, testify”.

The State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State also accused the Rivers State Representative on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC Tony Okocha of impersonation.

APC Chairman in Rivers State Emeka Beke said that the recent court judgment in Rivers State has sacked the Caretaker Committee leadership of the party in the state.

He noted that the party constitution did not recognize a caretaker committee and wondered why Tony Okocha is still parading himself as the Caretaker Chairman of the party in the state.

He further adviced the media to stop recognizing Tony Okocha as the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the party in Rivers State.

“We hereby, urge and advise the public, particularly the media houses, who are in the habit of addressing the sacked Tony Okocha as the CTC Chairman of APC in Rivers State despite a subsisting court judgment which restrained him to stop forthwith and see Tony Okocha and his cohorts as individuals who are suffering from superficial sentimentalities and not representing Rivers State APC, unless the media houses are telling us that they have sat as an appeal court and set aside the judgment of the Rivers State High Court. This warning has become of essence because it is said that "A Stitch in Time, Saves Nine."
