Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum has just approved the appointment of Alhaji Dauda Iliya as his official spokesperson and Special Adviser on media.
The appointment follows the demise of Mallam Isa Gusau who until his death in february 2024, served as the spokesoperson for Governor Zulum.
The Governor's appeoval was released in a statemnet on Friday October 18th, 2024, by his SSA on New Media, Abdurrahman Ahmed Bundi.
Duadi Iliya is currently the chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Borno chapter.
He hails from Kwaya-Kusar Local Government Area in the Southern part of the State.
