Adamawa Senator Denies Involvement in Viral Sex Scandal

Adamawa State Senator, Ishaku Abbo has been entangled in a controversial viral video of an alleged sexual scandal.

Recall that Senator Abbo, went viral on social media two years ago during his first tenure in the Senate when he attacked a breastfeeding mother in a sex toy shop in Abuja.

Lately, a leaked viral video that surfaced last week, showed a light-skinned man having sexual intercourse with a woman alleged to be married.

However, on seeing the video, netizens on social media have linked the name of the Adamawa-born senator as the identified man in the sex video. Although, the allegation is yet to be proven by any credible sources.

Meanwhile, in reaction to the viral video allegation, the senator had organized a press conference last Thursday where he denied that he was the man in the video having sex with the alleged Adamawa-married woman whose husband is said to be based in Abuja.

“How can you identify a person without seeing his face, his body, only parts of his legs and you said it is Senator Abbo, “ he said.

The senator who was sacked from the Red Chamber by an Appeal Court early this year, while addressing newsmen blamed his political opponents for sponsoring what he called “timid blackmail.”

“Blackmail cannot stop me from winning elections. A senator from one of the northern states was shown in a sex video with his entire body, but he still won an election to the Senate, and his wife won an election to the House of Representatives. My people love me. No amount of blackmail can stop me,” he insisted.

The senator also vowed to take legal court action against those he alleged were behind the circulation of the sex video and who are trying to damage his reputation.

The senator further stressed that he was not bothered by the sex video. He cautioned that ruining his reputation would not help the political interest of those sponsoring the blackmail. He affirmed that his supporters would still vote for him because of his performance while in the Senate.

Meanwhile, there is a report of another video surfacing on social media, which confirmed the allegation against Senator Abbo.The lady in the video claimed to be the person in the leaked sex tape and also accused Senator Abbo of threatening her life.
