Comedian Seyi Law Questions Court Over Bobrisky’s Re-arrest

Nigerian comedian Lawerence Oluwaseyitan Aletile professionally known as Seyi Law, has reacted to the reports of forceful removal of Cross dresser Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju aka Bobrisky from an airplane at the Lagos airport while headed to London.

In November 1, 2024, the social media streets was abuzz with news of Bobrisky’s arrest at the airport, accompanied by videos circulating on the online, showing the moment Bobrisky was dragged off the plane and detained.

Confused by the whole thing, Seyi Law took to his Twitter now ‘X’ handle , asking why exactly the socialite and social media personality was arrested in the first place.

He wrote; “I don't understand this Bobrisky's case, abeg. Did any court ask him not to travel? Why allow him to get on the plane and humiliate him like this?"

Recall that this is the second time Bobrisky has been arrested while attempting to leave the country. The first was on October 22, 2024, when he was stopped by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), at the Seme border while allegedly trying to flee Nigeria by road, and was later transferred to the FCID for safekeeping following his arrest.

His recent arrest took place late Thursday night, with Bobrisky detained at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos while attempting to board an Amsterdam-bound KLM flight en route to London.

Bobrisky's arrest also came merely hours after socialite Isaac Fayose, brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, posted pictures of himself with Bobrisky on board on Instagram.

Expressing his excitement, he wrote; “look who’s on the same flight with me to London, @Bobrisky222.”

After being arrested, Boobrisky took to social media to cry for help from Nigerians, stating that he was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

His post read; "Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me; I’m badly injured.”

Seamlessly, Bobrisky has recently faced a barrage of issues with the law since the beginning of 2024.
