Enugu State Government Dismisses Sit-at-Home Order

The Enugu State Government has rejected a viral sit-at-home directive, urging citizens to continue their daily activities. Governor Peter Mbah's administration reaffirmed its commitment to peace and security.


Secretary to the State Government, Prof Chidiebere Onyia, stated that Enugu has overcome the era of criminal-imposed restrictions. "We've implemented robust security measures to protect lives and property," he said.


Commissioner of Police Kanayo Uzuegbu warned that disruptions to public order will be met with swift action. Parents are advised to caution their children against harmful activities.


Citizens are encouraged to go about their lawful businesses without fear. The government's stance on maintaining law and order remains in effect.
