Queen Damilola Adeyemi, the former girlfriend of popular Nigerian musician and street king, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known Portable has publicly addressed the painful end of their relationship.
The breakup comes after a heated altercation between the two, during which Portable insulted her during a TikTok live session.
The incident unfolded when Portable took to his social media platform to criticize Damilola for her late-night online activity, calling her a "prostitute" and accusing her of engaging in "polygamy." His words were sharp and deeply hurtful, as he questioned her behavior and labeled her as unworthy of his respect.
Recall that Niger Delta Connect had previously mentioned Portable’s
“What are you doing online at this time? Are you a prostitute?" Portable demanded during the live broadcast”.
“Do you want to be practicing polygamy? Didn’t I tell you not to be coming online at night? What is a housewife doing online at night? Are you a prostitute?"
The public humiliation prompted Damilola to take to Instagram, where she expressed her distress over the situation, declaring that she could no longer tolerate the emotional pain.
"I'm done. This is too much for me. I can't take this embarrassment again," she wrote, emphasizing that the relationship had reached its breaking point.
In a direct response to Portable's actions, she announced her decision to walk away from the relationship for good.
In addition to the fallout with Portable, Damilola faced further scrutiny due to the controversial death of her late husband, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, the revered Alaafin of Oyo.
Portable’s comments fueled public speculation, with some accusing her of being involved in the monarch’s passing. Damilola vehemently denied the allegations, clarifying that she had no role in the death of the king. Her anger at the false rumors was palpable as she spoke out, distancing herself from the unfounded claims.
She also shared her frustrations over the unequal treatment she felt from Portable. While he had purchased a car for his wife, Bewaji, Damilola claimed that he failed to do the same for her.
This act of neglect only deepened her sense of betrayal, contributing to her decision to end the relationship.
In a video confirming their separation, Portable confirmed that Damilola had left his house, adding that he had been caring for her child out of respect for the late Alaafin.
“Thank God, she has left. I was taking care of the child she had for Alaafin because of the respect I have for him,” Portable said.
