I have been suffering in Silence -Lady Who Tore Husband's Passport

A woman who recently gained attention for tearing her husband's passport at the Lagos Airport has opened up on the reason for her actions, saying she has been going through unbearable family conflict.

Mrs. Igiebor, a content creator, who usually post about her husband and children revealed that she and her husband have been experiencing family issues for an extended period, both in Europe and Nigeria.

In a video shared on Monday, Igiebor explained that she had been suffering in silence and felt compelled to take drastic action to prevent her husband from returning to Europe without addressing their problems. She apologized to Nigerians and the immigration authorities for her actions.

She said '' “This issue has been going on for a long time. And I have to do what I did. Don’t just look at my actions alone. I’m not a mad woman. I have gone through so many things. I have my own reasons.'''

She emphasised that it would have been worse for the husband, if the issue had escalated in Europe where they came from, adding that she had to put up the strange behaviour in Nigeria in order to avoid glaring troubles for the husband.

Igiebor hinted at a deeper family conflict, stating that her husband prioritizes his family over her and their children. She emphasized that her actions were a desperate attempt to bring attention to her plight.

''So many people at the airport that day saw me acting. It has been a family issue all the time. My husband cannot even speak about it. I suffered with him, and just like that, his family wants my suffering to be shattered''.She added.
