Fire has gutted a well-known fitness center, ‘Eco Fitness Hub’, in Gwarinpa, in Abuja, causing significant damage to the property.
The blaze broke out during the late morning hours of November 13, 2024, sending thick plumes of smoke into the air and raising alarm among nearby residents.
Athough, emergency responders, including fire service personnel, quickly arrived at the scene to contain the fire, but not before it has caused an extensive destruction to the facility.
The cause of the fire is still yet to be known and authorities are assessing the extent of the damage.
However, no casualties have been reported so far, but the incident has left the fitness community in shock.
