In a bid to enhance customer experience for it's customers, MTN Nigeria has unveiled a fully digitized experience centre in Abuja, powered by advanced 5G technology.
The newly launched facility aims to provide a range of digital services and solutions, thereby highlighting the company’s commitment to harnessing advanced technology in other to meet up with the growing needs and demands of its users in the nation.
This was made known to the public during the launching ceremony at its Regional office in Maitama on Wednesday, by the Chief Customer and Experience Officer MTN Nigeria, Ogunwa Nwoye, while also stating that the centre which remains the first digital service was launched to demonstrate the power of technology and the company's readiness to pay attendance to their customer's needs.
She stated that Nigeria’s full economic potential could be reached when technology is fully harnessed and utilized.
In her statement she said: "Today we launched the first digital experience centre in Nigeria by any telecom firm. One of our goals was to bring a digital immersive experience as close as possible to our customers and businesses”
She further emphasized on the fact that, the launch highlights how technology can improve lives in the country thereby rendering them a better experience in their usage of the technology.
“We wanted to showcase what is possible with the technology we provide. As you know, MTN is a technology company that harnesses tech to enhance the lives of our customers and businesses around us. We believe Nigeria’s full potential can be reached through technology. That’s why we were the first to launch 3G, then 4G, and now 5G”
Nwoye also explained that the centre is powered by 5G technology and has been designed with local relevance and relativity in mind.
In her own words, she said : "We built the first digital kiosk in Nigeria, enabling up to eight user journeys where customers can access our services independently, though staff assistance is available if needed.”
