In a bid to foster national unity and progress, Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, has called for an overhaul of Nigeria's education system.
Delivering the 39th convocation lecture at the University of Ilorin, Fagbemi emphasized the need for a system that promotes broad-mindedness, openness, and democratic values.
"The future of Nigeria requires strong democratic values nurtured through inclusive education," he said.
Fagbemi advocated for integrating democratic values, overhauling the colonial-era curriculum, and prioritizing academic excellence.
This transformation aims to produce transparent and accountable leaders, consolidating national unity and creating a more just and equitable society.
Will this revamp pave the way for a brighter Nigerian future?
