No Apologies To Libya For Poor Treatment of S'Eagles - Yusuf Tuggar

The Federal Government has set the record straight, denying reports that it apologized to Libya over the shameful treatment of Nigerian football officials and players.

According to Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Tuggar, claims of an apology were "erroneous" and "misinformation." Tuggar reiterated Nigeria's displeasure and disappointment, calling for a Confederation of African Football investigation.

The incident sparked outrage among Nigerians, with many demanding justice for our national team. "Our players deserve respect," said one fan.

Tuggar clarified that Nigeria only recognizes Libya's Government of National Accord, not its Eastern Government. This distinction underscores the complex diplomatic relations between the two nations.

As tensions simmer, football enthusiasts await the Confederation's response. Will Nigeria's stance prompt change?
