Portable shades Celebs for Hypocrisy Over TG Omori's 'Fake Love

Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter, Habeeb Okikiola Badmus popularly known Portable has called out Nigerian celebrities for not showing and giving support to producer and video director Thankgod Jasem Omori popularly known as TG Omori aka ‘Boy director’ who is currently struggling with health complications.


The renowned cinematographer TG Omori recently opened up about his present health condition following his failed kidney transplant surgery. The award-winning producer revealed that he had undergone surgery for a kidney transplant after his only brother donated one of his kidneys for him.


According to reports, TG Omori’s said kidney transplant surgery which was done at the St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos proved unsuccessful due to reasons been that his body rejected the donated kidney.


“One year after my kidney crashed, I just had a failed transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos. Pray for me”.


Shortly after disclosing how-much pain he was in and what he was going through, he pleaded that Nigerians put him in their prayers.


Taking to his X handle, TG Omori shared that he is currently recovering from the stitches of his unsuccessful kidney surgery. However, he lifted his fans’ spirits by assuring them that he remains determined and will not give up until he’s back on his feet.


“Up and grateful o lord. Sadly, I can’t backflip. Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes, I’m healing now from the stitches of the failed one, I’ll continue the fight, been on it for past a year or two and I can’t back down now. Love y’all so much. Can’t wait to make New crowded music videos for y’all”.


Recently, the ‘Zazoo zehh’ crooner made a video, lashing out on Nigerian celebs for their previous show of love to a certain personality and insensitivity to the matters at hand


While a few celebrities posted made solidarity posts and messages of support and prayers on social media following the failed surgery, Portable bashed them for not making donations financially towards assisting him with his medical expenses.


In a video shared on social media, Portable lamented that the entertainment industry is full of “Fake Love”, he also expressed his disappointment with the entertainment industry.


He mentioned how Nigerian celebrities donated to the controversial cross-dresser Bobrisky aka ‘Mummy of Lagos’ during her legal troubles but could not extend the same energy and act of generosity to TG Omori, who is severely ill at the moment.


He goes on fuming; “TG Omori has a kidney problem, and celebrities are not donating money or a kidney for him, but Victor Osimhen and others donated money for Bobrisky, who adds no value. The industry is full of fake love”.
