The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the release of results for the June/July 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination,
NECO Official noted that 60.55 per cent of candidates scored five credits and above in English Language and Mathematics while 83.90%. Represents those candidates with five credits and above, irrespective of English and Mathematics.
The Registrar Professor Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi revealed the Official release of NECO results, during a briefing with journalists at the NECO headquarters on Thursday in Minna, Niger State.
Wushishi explained that a total of 1,376,423 candidates, comprising 706,950 males and 669,473 females, registered for the exam.
It is important to know that, as stated by NECO on its website, a token is required to check your NECO result.
‘’This is to inform the general public that henceforth our result checker Token would be used to check a candidate result once (and for five times) i.e. you cannot use another token to check the same result again. Any further checks (of the same result) would require the use of NECO E-Verify result verification Portal to verify/confirm such result. Best Regards, The NECO Team’’
Using NECO Results, candidates can check their SSCE,BECE and NCEE results by purchasing tokens. The token(s) can be shared with candidates, parents, schools, organizations or any person who wishes to view the candidates results.
NECO uses a new Results online system which offers a convinient way to check all Neco examination results. Once results are released, it will be made available via NECO Results system (www.results.neco.gov.ng)

A NECO Result Checking Token. Purchase a NECO Result Checking Token online through the NECO Results website:

Note that this token replaces the scratch card system previously used. You can buy the token
here: https://result.neco.gov.ng.
Click on ‘Purchase Token’.
Note: You have to log in with your email and password to access your account. If you do not have an account create one by clicking on register, and follow the instructions afterward.
Once logged in, click 'Purchase Token' again and follow the prompts to complete your payment.
Check Your Result :
Click: https://result.neco.gov.ng input the required details in the form
Select the Exam Year, e.g., 2023.
Choose the Exam Type, such as SSCE Internal (JUN/JUL) or SSCE External (NOV/DEC), Enter your Token Number
Type in your Examination/Registration Number in the specified field.
Click on the “Check My Result” button.
Note: You can use a Mobile Phone, a laptop or a desktop system that I connected to the internet to check your results.
Additional Information For those wishing to print the NECO certificate
A prompting by NECO on their website reads: request for re-print of certificate
The National Examinations Council (NECO) wishes to inform its numerous candidates/ clients and members of the general public that:
One year after issuance of the original Certificate, Council will no longer entertain requests for re-print of same.
Request for correction of result will be entertained within one month after the release of such result.
Request for re-print of Certificate will now attract a fee of fifty thousand Naira (N50, 000.00) only, subject to review.
