The Zenith Labour Party, has swept 15 seats of the 17 Local Government Areas of the state, while the Young Progressives Congress(YPP), won Osisioma and Ugwunagbo Local Government Areas.
The results which were announced by the Chairman, Abia State Independent Electoral Commission(ABSIEC ), Prof Chima George, after the exercise was concluded peacefully in the state, had the ZLP taking the lead with 15 Local government areas.
