Juventus player Paul Pogba, who received a four-year ban following a failed doping test, posted a cryptic message on his official Instagram handle ahead of his CAS hearing.
Pogba shared images of himself training with a ball and swimming at his home, accompanied by the caption, "Time will give you the answer."
The former Manchester United forward was handed the ban in February after testing positive for DHEA, a substance known to naturally elevate testosterone levels.
The France international has not played since September 3, 2023, when he appeared as a substitute against Empoli. His CAS appeal is set to begin this week.
However, the 31-year-old player's case could be overturned if he's cleared of any wrongdoing, which is why he has continued training at home.
“Until then, my focus is on staying fit and looking forward to the appeal.” He said in an interview in July.
Reports indicate that Pogba's camp is hopeful due to a previous ruling in the case of tennis player Jannik Sinner. Sinner's doping ban was overturned after his legal team successfully argued that his positive test was the result of contamination from his physiotherapist. Pogba's case shares similarities with Sinner's.
According to reports, the Juventus player was prescribed a set of pills by an American company before his positive test, which led to his ban.
Pogba has reportedly expressed his desperation to return to his career, hoping that his ban will be overturned in his favor.
Having turned 31 in March, he still has time to resume his career if the judgment goes his way.
In a July interview, the 31-year-old player stated: "I am still here, still positive, and I have an opportunity to fight what I believe is an injustice.
"I am not doing what I love, which is football, but I am really eager to get back. I am so eager, I feel like a kid who wants to be a professional.”
Meanwhile, the France international, who is currently serving a four-year ban, has reportedly turned his attention to business ventures off the pitch.
It was gathered that Pogba has partnered with CHIMI, a Swedish fashion brand, to launch a new eyewear collection. The brand introduced two new pairs of sunglasses named "Paul" and "Pogba," featuring black and yellow colors.
The "CHIMI x Pogba Anticipation Eyewear Collection" includes optional metal trims, reportedly inspired by Pogba’s iconic hairstyles that have gained worldwide recognition.
