BREAKING: Fire Engulfs Telecom Facility In Abuja

There has been an intense panic as fire engulfed a private telecommunications office in Gana Street, Maitama, Abuja.

The incident which happened on Saturday also brought down a building, housing a local eatery in the area.

Meanwhile, another building in Wuse was also reported to have caught fire.

Reports stated that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) fire service, Asokoro division, confirmed both developments on Saturday.

However, no casualties were reported according to the Fire Service.

Also, last Saturday, another fire outbreak occurred on a section of the Lagos blue line track opposite the NEPA station, near the Eko bridge in the Apongbon area of Lagos state.

Sadly, it was recorded that about four persons were killed in a fire outbreak at a lounge and bar on Baale road in the Olodi Apapa area of the state, in October.

The employees of the bar were burnt beyond recognition in the inferno.

Around March, some sections of the popular Wuse market in Abuja, the nation’s capital, was gutted by fire, destroying several shops and goods.
