I Never Left Any Man For Cheating - Tiwa Savage

Tiwa Savage, one of Nigeria’s most iconic music stars, has once again made waves with her candid views on relationships, particularly her perspective on infidelity.

In an interview late Thursday night, the singer, popularly known as the “African Bad Gyal,” revealed a controversial stance, insisting that cheating has never been a deal breaker for her in any of her relationships.

Tiwa’s admission came as a shock to many. She confessed that despite being cheated on multiple times, she has always forgiven her partners and never ended a relationship solely because of infidelity.

"Every man I have ever been with has cheated, and I have never left them because of it," she said.

Instead, Tiwa clarified that her decision to leave a relationship has been based on other factors, such as emotional abuse, drug abuse, theft, financial issues, or dishonesty that accompanied the infidelity.

While many might view cheating as the ultimate betrayal, Tiwa explained that the real issue for her is the dishonesty and disrespect that often accompany it.

"What hurts is the lies about it," she shared, highlighting that discovering a partner’s unfaithfulness through deceit, especially when others know about it, is more painful than the act of cheating itself. This revelation shifts the focus from infidelity as a singular act to the deeper relational dynamics of trust and communication.

Tiwa’s viewpoint also touches on broader societal trends. Reflecting on the history of infidelity, she noted that cheating has long been a part of human relationships, with historical and cultural precedents that date back centuries.

"Even going back to the Bible and history, it’s something we’ve always seen," she pointed out.

In this light, Tiwa’s perspective invites a deeper conversation about what constitutes betrayal and whether societal norms have desensitized us to the complexities of human relationships.

I know you say it’s bad that we’ve gotten to a point where cheating isn’t a deal-breaker. But I feel like we’ve always been here, even back in the day, even going back to the Bible and history,” she pointed out.

Her openness has sparked both admiration and criticism online. Some fans applaud her for embracing a forgiving and pragmatic view of relationships, while others question if normalizing infidelity could send the wrong message about commitment and respect.
