The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has launched a swift repair operation to revamp critical sections of the East-West Road. Managing Director Dr. Samuel Ogbuku led an on-site inspection, praising President Bola Tinubu's decisive intervention.
The repairs, expected to be completed within two weeks, will address the road's most dilapidated sections, including Ibadulume, Amukpe round-about, Mosoga, and Ologbo.
Ogbuku applauded the Federal Government's prompt re-award of the previously abandoned contract. "This road is vital for Niger Delta's economic growth and development," he emphasized.
With repairs underway, residents and commuters can expect improved travel experiences, enhanced regional connectivity, and boosted economic activities.
