The management of the University of Benin has confirmed that students rescued from the collapsed storey building are currently stable in the hospital.
Niger Delta Connect had earlier reported the building collapse, which was due to a heavy downpour on Saturday morning the 14th of September at Ekhator Street.
Updating the public on the incident, the management said that the team, comprising staff of the security and fire service departments, the health centre, students, as well as the police, succeeded in rescuing the students. Going further to wish them a speedy recovery and commend the rescue team for their swiftness in the case.
