In the past few days, the Internet has been awash with arguments and counter arguments centred around the revelation made by popular social media critic, VeryDarkMan, through an audio recording, alleging that Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye also known as Bobrisky, served his jail term in a Private apartment as a result of his godfather's connection with the Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service and how the EFCC collected N15million to drop money laundering charges against him.
This case has raised eyebrows and has led to several suspensions and investigations, in the Prison service, EFCC and recently the House of Representatives.
This is not the first time revelations of this kind would be made as well as investigations being carried out. But the question is: where does it end? Will the EFCC, the Prison Service and the House of Representatives get to the root of this matter? Will those who will be found guilty be sacked and severely punished? If the Bobrisky truly served his jail term in a Private apartment, will he be sent back to prison? Where will this end?
